it is quite gorgeous machine with original window
(Posted on July 20, 2011)Review by AliAs far as its style is concerned it has au-sum look with its textured touch pad and clickity keyboard.
As the price is concerned it is good affordable machine. The performance of the processor is good no hanging of machine is there.
The draw back is always there here is the ventilating fans are under the machine if we not lift the laptop it will heat up the fan side of the laptop I think Hp must visit this.

A thoroughly satisfying buy!
(Posted on June 26, 2011)Review by AamnaIf you are a loyal hp user and it has come to opting for a new no nonsense machine, G6 -1020 is your answer.. It does what its supposed to do and it does it exceptionally well
Talking in terms of price not only it's an excellent budget machine but also the fact doesn't take away from it the style, which most of the other machines available in this range lack, with an obvious added advantage of pre installed windows. Simple yet elegant and efficient would be more of an apt description of this product.

Good Value for Money!
(Posted on May 25, 2011)Review by Mrs Nargis MehmoodI always wanted a laptop for every day usage, such as checking E-mails and Browsing etc. Being aged, I found it hard to sit in front of a desktop for hours, so I needed something portable.
Over all, it’s a decent laptop for every day use. The charcoal grey color with glossy lid and textured mouse pad has definitely brought elegance to the laptop. In short, it is beautifully designed. Moreover, the keyboard is quite comfortable to type on. The high speed processor has made the multi-tasking much smoother. The hard disk space and RAM is pretty reasonable too. DVD burner with built in LightScribe technology is something I always wanted to label my Discs. Battery life is absolutely phenomenal (3-3.5 Hours); this comes handy especially during frequent Electricity Load Shedding without worrying to charge it over and over again.
For a laptop with original windows; it is definitely worth a grab.

The inner two shades looked awesome. pad feels quite smooth.and beautifully textured.
CyberLink Youcam is having a distinct feature of manual setting facility. I am still a learner but i found it easy to handle and understand the systems the keyboard is very easy to use. it is no doubt easy to carry along but i still wanted to be a little lighter.
i would always recommend hp pavillion g 6 for everyday use

not bad at all ...pretty close to being perfect
(Posted on March 24, 2011)Review by zahraLets talk about the good stuff first.. this HP Pavillion g series thing is gorgeous looking, cannot stress enough on how sassy and smooth it looks. Although I do hope this is seriously scratch resistant. The inside looks great a neat keyboard a textured touch pad area and nicely accented with two shades of grey.
This machine is the most quiet machine I’ve ever known you sometimes even forget it’s still on; and none of those uncomfortable vibrations when the processor kicks in. The new version of CyberLink YouCam is incredibly captivating with it’s manual adjustments and settings.
Lastly, something I was a little worried about was the keyboard however neat it is, it is rather clickity clackity, but if I put my whole palm on and press down not one key is actually pressed so it distributes pressure nicely, so what? it’s still a bit too noisy. And the other thing was the button for the optical drive, I have to press it really hard or with my nail for it to open, it feels like it’s quite pushed in alreaady and again a little too shaky in it’s spot.
Petty neat overall, grey should be the new black for laptops
